Hosting a wedding reception under a tent can be very elegant. Tents also provide added warmth and protection for any unexpected changes in weather.

Casual wedding receptions can include a simple tent, or more elegant draping with understated décor such as rustic chandeliers and simple floral arrangements.

There are many varieties of tents such as layers of draping, draping over tent legs and whether you would like a tent without walls or with walls. Other variations include the varieties of fabric coverings. You will want to select an option to coordinate with the overall wedding theme. Most tents are neutral in color, which compliment the wedding colors.
When styling wedding receptions under tents, include decorative elements that flow with the theme, such as flowers arranged in tins. Mixing in other vintage pieces, galvanized metal, and Mason jars are great for rustic events. Simple white folding chairs set along wood tables create uniformity and casual elegance, which is a perfect look for rustic, outdoor receptions.
