Stoller Vineyards

STOLLER VINEYARDS

By LaFleur Magazine

Stoller Vineyard's tasting room is surrounded in massive windows with a wavy wood ceiling that appears to move. It is light, bright, open and friendly. The entire staff working at the vineyard is upbeat and attentive, which cultivates a personalized tasting experience. Outside, the grounds are kept up beautifully with tasteful furnishings set to take in the surroundings. White Adirondack chairs and small bistro tables await outside; alined perfectly to take in the vineyard views.

Just down the hillside from the tasting room sits a breathtaking tree. Settings just at the base of the first sloping hill with idyllic, old-fashioned tire swing, you will soon forget where you are and get caught up in a carefree day of friendship and sipping some of Oregon's best wines. We recommend staying onsite to enjoy one of the vineyards furnished homes. The service is exceptional and so much fun to explore an immersive vineyard experience (and the photo opportunities are incredible).
THE LOCATION

Located on the southern edge of the Dundee Hills, just west of Portland, Oregon, the once family-owned turkey farm was turned into a world-class wine operation by Bill Stoller, third generation to live on the farm. According to Stoller, his late grandmother bought turkeys to keep as farm pets. The pets became one the largest turkey facilities in Oregon at one time. Stoller purchased the farm in the early nineties with the intention of revamping it to what is now one of Oregon's true wineries.
THE VIEWS

Rocky terrain and steep hillsides surround Stoller Vineyards. These hills were not considered ideal for farming, yet considered perfectly suited for producing great Oregon wine. The southern-sloped hills produce wines that tell the story of just how good Oregon wine can be. Around the vineyard you will experience views distinct of the Dundee Hills. Sloping, grassy, and unexpectedly beautiful, the views contribute to a great wine experience.

Learning more about the environment is one of the fun aspects of visiting Stoller. Learning that the quality wines stemming from ancient Jory soils of the surroundings, makes the entire experience connected to Oregon's beauty. Sitting outside Stoller's tasting room, gazing up at the vines and rolling hills, is a sight that continues to draw in wine enthusiasts. Whether planning a relaxing weekend, romantic getaway, or serious wine tasting, Stoller will not disappoint. In fact, it might become one of your favorite Oregon wine experiences.
ACCOMMODATION

Three vacation homes are onsite and available to rent, each with amazing views of the vineyard. You will find fully equipped kitchens and amenities to make you feel at home. From complimentary wine tasting, to cozy bedrooms and inviting landscapes to stroll with morning coffee or sunset strolls with a bottle of wine, the entire place is a relaxing spot to get away.
