This vacation home located in Boise, ID has plenty of character, turn-of-the-century charm and is a great option for families traveling in to explore Idaho. Boise, ID is known for wonderful parks, a thriving arts and music scene, miles of hiking and biking trails, outdoor festivals, concerts and movies, along with Zoo Boise and BSU for football and other sporting events. There is plenty to see and do!

LAYOUT
The open vault, two-story floor plan is spacious and bright with over 1200 sq. ft of living space. The living room has a beautiful full-size leather couch accompanied by a leather lounge chair to curl up and relax with a good book after a busy day.

THE KITCHEN
The modern 50’s style kitchen is well-lit and hosts a rustic farm table / picnic style table seats 6 with additional dining space at the adjacent bar seating. This is a great gathering place for family meals. The kitchen features a beautiful, original 1954 Hotpoint electric range accompanied by late 1950’s GE refrigerator. A matching white, newer dishwasher makes cleanup easy. The table seasts six comfortably with additional seating at the adjacent bar top. The industrial style, open 1.5” stained solid-wood shelving, supported by modern stainless steel brackets, displays modern stainless steel accessories. Solid white, speckled-quartz kitchen surfaces provide a bright and clean area to prepare meals. Enjoy the coffee bean grinder, coffee machine, lettuce spinner, toaster, Ninja blender and microwave to name a few of the items provided to make you feel at home (whole coffee beans are also stocked in the freezer).

ACCOMODATION
There are three bedrooms with sleeping for six. The open master bedroom is located upstairs, off the main stairway, featuring an adjoining full bathroom, small, flat-screen TV, walk–in closet, luggage rack, chest of drawers and a comfortable queen bed. Please note: there is no door to this master bedroom, which is adjoining the other extra bedroom. There is considerable privacy, although no locking door on the master.

The second upstairs bedroom boasts a sturdy bunk bed with two twin-size mattresses, a side table and reading lamp. This is a great sleeping room for kids as since it is near the master bedroom.

Another private bedroom is located downstairs, complete with a comfortable queen-size bed, walk-in closet, sliding door to rear patio, side tables, reading lamp and alarm clock.


ENTERTAINMENT
In this cool retreat, you'll find great entertainment amenities such as free WIFI, Direct TV, a DVD player with a new 50” Sony HD TV downstairs and a smaller flat screen upstairs in the master bedroom. You will find board games, card games and a welcome gift of an assortment of local snacks, bottle of wine and a 6-Pack of local craft brew.
AMENITIES
The home is well-stocked with everything you need for cooking up meals, along with thoughtful extras to make your stay more enjoyable. You will find plenty of functional space in the kitchen for meal prep, along with cutting boards, sharp knives, dinnerware, flatware for eight and new pans for cooking. The bathrooms are well-stocked with specialty shampoos / conditioner, soaps, hair dryer and necessities.
EXTRAS
The rustic farm table / picnic style table is a perfect spot to enjoy a game night or lazy afternoon. There is a game collection with puzzles, family board games and cards.

At the top of the stairs you will find a giant, historical 1896 map of Idaho doubling as access to the fully stocked linen closet. Slide it open to expose the extra blankets, extra white towels and other linen items.

A large-capacity washer and dryer are ready and waiting in the laundry room, along with fully-stocked shelves with washing detergents.

Bikes are available to ride to downtown and to other activities during your stay including one tandem, one child's bike, one BMX, three adult cruisers and one fully-geared cross-road bike. Maps are available in garage for use. There is one bike pump and patch kit provided for you. Bike helmets are also provided, along with tools and a lock for each bike.

UNIQUE FEATURES
This vacation rental is great for small families, couples or girlfriend getaways with sleeping for 4. There is floor space in the living room for an extra crib or air bed / floor sleeping.

The modern decor adds a unique element for those that enjoy tasteful decorating.

This is a pet-friendly neighborhood and great for those that enjoy walking. There are many nearby hot spots within walking distance.

Parking is available in the adjacent covered parking areas and open lot (street parking is not available).
