Nestled in the Deschutes National Forest, Little Lava Lake Campground, sometimes referred to as Deschutes Pond, is packed with stunning scenery and direct access to an abundance of recreational activities. With several first- come sites available, Little Lava Lake Campground is one of the most scenic no-reservation camping options and great for families with children.

Several campsites offer secluded, shady accommodations and most feature grassy ground cover. The campsites back up to the clear stream of the Deschutes River and offer great bank fishing. Some sites are more scenic with direct access to the streams. Other sites are just a short stroll from the stream and are some of the most private, and secluded camping in the area.
