THINGS TO DO IN MONTREAL THIS WINTER

As the temperature drops, there’s nothing I love more than bundling up in a big fluffy sweater and making my way down to my favorite coffee shop. Stepping into the familiar shop, instantly being hit with the rich smell of beans… Just the mere thought of this has me so excited that I might just cut this article short and run out to the nearest little shop too get my fix!

But, seriously, since my move to Montreal, my biggest pleasure has been exploring the city and finding coffee house gems.

There is so much to see and experience, yet so little time. So, today I’ve put together a short list of some highly noteworthy coffee shops!
La Croissanterie Figaro
If you are searching for a slice of Paris in the heart of Montreal, look no further than La Croissanterie Figaro. This cute café, filled with antiques and beautiful marble tables, will take you back in time.

As the name suggests, they offer quite the variety of croissants, (and my go-to is hands down, the Chocolatine, which they bring to you warm), and their latte's are definitely memorable.
Tommy Café
Tommy's, is a coffee shop located in Old Montreal. It is a go-to stop. Tommy succeeds not only in creating a light, fun atmosphere, but also in making a great avocado toast. Their coffee is also one of my favorites offered in the city.

What started off in one location on Notre Dame, has now grown into 3 locations! The beautiful vine-plant-chandelier, hovers over the space, and has easily become one of Montreal’s most photographed coffee shops.
Dandy
Dandy, having only opened its door this year, is a café, restaurant combination. I enjoy Dandy's so much. In fact, I wish its been around longer than one year, I love it so much.

Firstly, I have to say the staff is so incredibly kind, that I would go back for them alone. In addition to the great team, the pastries and lattes are some of the best I’ve EVER had.

The décor is equally dreamy. From the terrazzo floor entrance, to the vibrant red counter, and mustard booths, everything at Dandy will leave you feeling oh-so-satisfied.
Le Petit Dep
Fun, quirky, and eclectic, Le Petit Dep combines vintage feels with a childish charm. Everything about the little shop makes you want come back and explore more.

Le Petit Dep is easily one of the coziest places to be in Montreal this winter. The Chai lattes are delectable. I look forward to having one each time that I’m in the Old Port.

These four amazing spots wrap up my top, most highly recommended coffee shops to visit in Montreal this winter. Make the most of this cozy season and grab a coffee, or two, with your loved ones!
